Shore Dreams For Kids Receives $10,604 Donation From
John Haggin & AMF Offshore Racing

Toms River, NJ, February 25, 2007 – August of last year, John Haggin of AMF Offshore Racing, announced that he was donating a 1999 30' canopied Phantom to be raffled off for three great worthy causes. The worthy causes designated were Breast Cancer Research, Shore Dreams For Kids and the OPA Race to be held in Destin Florida.

The raffle @ $50.00 per ticket was a huge success and was primarily marketed on the internet website offshoreonly.com. The ticket sales raised in excess of $50,000! The lucky winner of the raffle was Dave Bennet from Connecticut who will be campaigning the boat this upcoming racing season!

Earlier this month, OPA and AMF Offshore invited the Shore Dreams For Kids directors to attend the OPA Winter Awards Dinner in Seaside Heights to accept AMF’s very generous donation.

On hand to present the “PUBLISHER’S CLEARING HOUSE SIZE CHECK” were AMF Offshore’s Scott Begovich, Chief Savering & Marc Granet. On hand to receive the check on behalf of Shore Dreams For Kids were Rob Cline, Geralyn Monroe and Dave Patnaude. NJPPC Planning Committee member Tim Sharkey was also on hand since he was the key person instrumental in the planning of having AMF Offshore involved with Shore Dreams For Kids. The final donation amounted to a whopping $10,604.00!

Shore Dreams For Kids’s Executive Director Peter Mazzo said “no words can be expressed to describe the appreciation of Shore Dreams For Kids to reflect the extreme generosity of John Haggin and the AMF Team. We hope that John Haggin and the AMF Team will be able to attend this year’s event so they can see first hand the smiles that their donation will help bring for some very special people.”
