the question in my mind remains, is there a difference in laminar/near laminar flow at 10 knots vs. all turbulent flow at 70mph.
therefore the physics may be different for a performance boat vs. a sailboat. Meaning the multiple articles like Jon's on sailing may not apply to fast boats??
