Default 300xs and 28 Skater

I am re-powering my 28 Skater with a new set of 300xs.Who here is currently running them.Are there any problems or issues with the 300xs?

Tired of the 2.5's? Sell them to Travis he will need some spares.

Sold the Good one and am in the process of parting out the blown one.I told Travis today to sell his 2.5`s and get 300xs

Steve i ran the new 30 in florida at the power boat trials with those motors were sweet .no issues that i have heard of yet but have not talked to any one with a lot of time on them yet. time will tell we have one being rigged out at skater for frank going to port charlotte should be mid april. will know more on them then good luck i think you will like them jim

I have 48hrs

12hrs over 6 grand the motors are awesome. fuel efficient durrable.

Only issue is that they start to shut down at 6150 and go into gaurdian at 6300. I would imagine with the 1.62 gear ratio you will run out of prop like me.
