Default Need motor suggestions for 32 Skater

I just made a post and it was moved to the Wanted section. I spent 5 minutes looking for the wanted section but never found it so I will re-phrase my post.
I just purchased a 32 Skater set up for outboards. I have been out of the outboard game for years (except for the wheelie boat!). What motors would you suggest? I don't want to spend a fortune, I'm sure I'll be sick of it in a few months. I don't mind if the motors are 4 or 5 years old. I don't want motors that are a major pain. The boat does not have to fo 120. 100 is fine!

P.S.
If anyone has any or knows of any motors that will work, please let me know. If you can find the wanted section you can put it in my post there or you can PM me.

You will need twin 300x. Look at screamandfly.com.

I had a 32 back in 96 to 98. It had triple 2.5s and they were a MAJOR P.I.A. but it would run 108-110. I sold it to a guy in Miami and he put twin 300 Mercury Pro-maxs on it and it would still run close to 100. I haven't kept up with outboards much in the last 7-8 years but there are supposed to be some good ones out there now. Just stay away from 2.5s

I don't think you need 25 mids. Stay with 20's

You need 20" motors
2.5's are only a pain in the ass if you have hacks working on them, ya they require rebuilds every 75-100 hours but they can and will produce more power than any other outboard.
-300 Promax is a good motor, low reving, getting old they need to be rebuilt. 6300 rev llimit
-300x more power, not as reliable 6900 rev limit
-E-Tec... not a good idea. 6000 rev limit with 1.86 gears you are speed limited because of prop selection to around 90 mph.

If it were mine, I would buy 3 250XS motors with 1.62 gears. They run on 87 rev to 6400 and should put you in the 105-110 range... and are fairly reliable.

You buy a 35 Motion I buy a 35 Motion. I buy a MTI you buy a MTI. I just bought a 32 Skater as a second boat and now you buy a 32 Skater. I guess I need to start looking for a Lambo.

Go with twin 300X not the Promax engine. 20" mids. Assume anything used will need a rebuild.
