You can eliminate the gladiator and the 35 fountain. They do not meet your cabin criteria.

For your comparison, i would replace those two with:

top gun t/s
37 active thunder

It seems that Active Thunder has now leapfrogged all other boat brands here on OSO. Now that there name keeps getting thrown out there....maybe it's time for some new threads so the "Baptism" as the new King of offshore powerboats can begin!!!!

A few suggested threads:

Active Thunder vs. Apache- Hey it should be first up, I hear that these AT's handle BIG water like it's nothing.

Active Thunder vs. Cigarette- should be interesting

Active Thunder vs. Fountain- Custom built against a production boat. Maybe not be a fair comparison.

Active Thunder vs. Outerlimits- Could be an interesting one!

Active Thunder vs. Nor-Tech- I know that the '39 v-hull of NT has been out for a while. Opinions???

Active Thunder vs. Donzi- Maybe the same as Fountain...Two different animals

I sure am hearing ALOT about Active Thunder and how great they are lately and don't get me wrong, I'm not disrespecting them, but are they the next great offshore powerboat.....or is it all hype???

As they say, your first guess is usually the best...though there is a huge swing in cost of your listed choice's, this one being the most expensive...

Curious. Your location hints that you are on the Chain O Lakes in Northern Illinois..true ?

Welcome aboard.

The OL has a large U shaped leather sofa in the cabin that you can get a filler for to make a bed if you want too ,head is large and funtional. With 600/bravo depending on props, merc maximus vs Herrings the boat will run 96-103 . you can run with 6 people , full load of fuel and Merc props and still go 95 ! The build , fit and finish is fantastic. Check out the low hour late model used ones on the market and save serious $$$. Just my o2

That's an easy one (I'm assuming that you are referring to the Chicago poker run)........Didn't it result in ANOTHER blown Bravo1?
