That thing must have sounded awesome. I remember in the late 80's and early 90's when we were racing the sound of those things running. I remember a couple of cougar cats running those but never an Apache. I still think my favorite sound from back in the day was the old dry Y-pipes.

You guys are lucky in the States, over in the UK all cars, bikes, boats you name it have restrictions on noise.

Lets face it, a Harley shouldnt be made to sound like a Jap import!

Cigarette Tiger TS 2002
It is interresting how the add says they where running when taken out of the boat 10 month ago. If I remember correctly the add for the boat said that the engines had not been fired for several years and condition was unknown. the boat sold 1-2 month ago so how could they have been taken out 10 month ago ?

Where do you see the difference ? If you look at the engines in the Apache one is missing some red paint on the flywheel cover and on one of the ebay pictures you can see paint missing in the same place.

You might be right though but I cant spot the difference.

Are you saying the 2 engines in the Ebay ad are different from each other, or different than these

http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o13823-en.html

which also came out of an Apache? They are obviously different from the ebay ones.

Pics aren't the best on ebay, and i cant see any d fferences.

Maybe they are the same, i was comparing the wrong ends. Plus they are showing staggered exhaust like in the apache.
