Not your avarage crate motor

Pulling the 1150's and dropping in these new 1650's. Just a tad bigger with the new Brodix KCPB1202 heads... ok 2 3/4" taller and 5 1/2" wider

Should be an e ticket ride now!

Thats pretty incredible that they are wet sump motors making that much power!! Most engine guys seem to be going to dry sump motors.

These are going in a 36 Nortech. Knock guages are moving from the passenger side over next to the tachs along with the EGTs' . With the little pulleys they'll need to be fed 114 but will do fine on less octane at lower boost. They are rather high compression for blower motors but will run well with less boost. The idea is to build torque down low with where you need not up at 6k.

Rob, I was worries about those fitting too but the builder has done a few motors before these and claims they won't be a problem.

I'll tell you these motors are remarkable when sitting next to the 1150s'. The width difference in the heads is HUGE.

pullmytrigger, I couldn't get these under the hatches in my rig.... I've been thinking the 1150s are going to need a good home though
