that's awhole different bag. You're either building a "storage" building as I have, or a "house" that you store chit downstairs. big, big difference right from the get-go. |
Sydwayz Have you looked into some kind of dehumidifier. Maybe something like you would need for a indoor pool.

Just for comparison, I have a 12x32x12 instant garage, with a polyethalyne cover. It gets very hot inside and there is a lot of humidity. There is mold on the inside walls and in the boat, if left for an extended periods, will get excess mold growth in the cabin.

Pole barn is much more attractive..i helped stick frame a "barn" before, 100x40. It was all 2x6 with truss roof and hardi plank siding. I would go that route if possible 2nd place pole barn. The more attractive it is on the exterior the better. For a lot of buyers a big metal industrial looking building detracts from the appeal if you ever resell.

I would look at Morton Buildings too. They put mine up 2 years ago and I can't say enough good things about them. They are a little higher $$ than national barn but you get alot more quality. Haven't had any condesation problems here. PM me if you have any questions.
