Yeah, he must have done that on the new boat too because he said it runs 97.... But last year I walked him on the ocean coming back from Pt. Pleasant.......and I was only running 81 mph..... He claimed a blower belt was slipping. Then a couple miles up the coast he blew a drive....

YIKES....

You gonna test this weekend?

I'm supposed to leave for Patchogue next Friday afternoon, I think one other boat is riding with me.

Saturday is the plan. One more to go in the hole, Install throttles and shifters and a few other odds and ends. I'd say ready to start on the hose late Thurs. or Fri. morning. With the volume of work I've done to this boat I keep drivin myself nuts thinking I forgot something. With my luck we'll get to the ramp and forget the keys.

Downtown, I am not afraid to run my engines like others. They put the engine on warm it up, make two pulls and say it's finished. All of our marine engines get a minimum of 2-3 hours of actual run time. Warm up, break in , and testing. Cylinder heads are re-torqued , valve lash run a few times ( when applicable) , compression and leak down test performed after testing, ect. The Bad Boys are ready to rock when they go in the vessel. Of all the pairs or triples we have built, none have been no futher apart than 8 horsepower.
