Default To switch from a Bravo 3 to Bravo1

Hi all thanks for helping me. I have a 2000 Warlock 23 XRI with 454 mag mpi hits 68 gps with bravo3 and xr 27 props. Would switching to Bravo 1 increase my speed and whatnot or is it pointless to switch? Please advise me all you experts.

Are you in the right RPM range for your motor with the B3 and the current prop setup? B3 prop selection is limited, but they can be tweaked by a professional prop tuner.

My speculation is that your X-dimension is not going to be exactly what you need when you go to the B1 drive. You may have to mess with shorty drives which is expensive and a hassle.

I'd contact one of the prop lab shops here on OSO like BBlades or Throttle-Up with your specs, weight, RPM, HP, and speeds, and see if you are where you are supposed to be with slip and performance before venturing to a Bravo1.

We have a B3 on our 29' Baja islander. It rocks you will never beat the hole shot. Plus you can stay on plane lot lower speeds with B3 over B1. Sorry I can't help you with the X-dimension.

Thanks for the replies. I hit 5150 rpm and it accelerates great. QUick holeshot. Just wondering if there was any gain available by the swap. Sounds like I'm okay. I emailed Warlock twice but they don't seem to want to answer me.

My advise. Keep your B3 and be happy.
