Default Dock Bumpers

i have a new Hustler 25 talon on its way. I have a U-shaped slip and need bumbers, the slip is 10' wide and the boat is
8' 4", so there isnt much room on either side for wiggle. my dock is bare wood and i need some good bumpers that will not damage my paint or boat or leave a rash, any suggestions would be great. I have used tires with carpet in the past, but they are too wide for this application

Get some dockmate dockpads from overtons or westmarine. They come very thick and cushy for long stretches or corners.

Any chance you know a fire fighter? Every (however long) they need to replace all the hoses they use and the old hose works great! I get the 4" stuff, it has a thick rubber lining and has a nylon woven outer skin that is nice and soft. If you just cut the hose to the length you need it, lay it flat and use aluminum roofing nails (not where the rub rail is naturally) to tack it to the posts - you're good-to-go. Lasts forever, stays pliable and absorbs 'bumps' well - tie off 4 ways and you're done.

Something like this? It's like 20bucks for 10 feet.

And how about wheels for the corners?

are west marine and overtons the only options, there has to be some more products out there. need help bad, there is a lot of wood on my dock, which could lead to a lot of damage, so i need some good protection because i only have about 10" on either side of the boat wiggle room

They sell most of the dock pads and bumpers ive seen. Most slips just have generic pads. What "other options" do you have in mind? I think these are as good as any IMO.
