Default boost or no boost

I posted a thred on alpha 1 gen 2 and horse power yesterday. I wanted to know if alpha drives could handle extra power if I
installed blowers, on my 350 mags. Some say it's ok, and some say no way. My question is this. If the boat runs 65+ at
see level, and I am running 59 at 5000 ft. With small blowers
and 4 psi of boost or so, to compensate for altitude. Would the
drives know the differance?

I would say, NO.

Alpha are rated up to 300hp. Anything more than that, and you are probably gonna break it.

A couple of Alphas are still cheaper than converting to Bravos......SEI makes a complete direct bolt on replacement for about $1,700.00 (but I would keep one readily available)
