Catmando,
You got me on the spelling but it was probably a typo
Miccosukee for about 7 years including my friends cat in SBI for the second year.
Oh yeah mr horsepower you really don't think think that many of the pr boats are very similar to race boats just missing a lid and some safety. They actually run a much faster that we do in SV

I went to Ruth Chris once, it wasn't very good. I have no problem admitting to over paying for low quality food. Unlike the other patrons who think it gives them a higher social status to eat there.

However, the service was excellent!!

They could also hand out computers at the races as well, same way nascar hands out restrictor plates.

This thread was about a Fountain kicking ass at a race, not a Poker Run. The OL people/supporters always get their balls in a bunch when somewhen dares to threaten that the OL product is NOT the most superior on the water today, in any venue.

I am surprised Sharky hasn't chimed in yet, he is OL's number one advocate.

I like OL, but Fountain's have CONSISTENTLY ran well in racing. The OL camp needs to come to the race with your best set-up, the Skater V has and has won(and Fountain). What's the OL obstacle to winning (we already know the answer)? Mercury is not the correct answer to that last question.

Example: Toyota makes a nice car (raceboat analogy), and the flagship company Lexis builds a nice car (poker-run boat analogy), but that does not mean on race day their set-up will get aound a Chevrolet (ie. #48, #20, #24, #8, need I go on???)/Fountain.... I realize my analogy is not perfect, but so what, you get the point.

Earlier Quote:

40 Outerlimits,8000 lbs 525s 1.5 gear ratio 5350rpm with 36 pitch props
42 Fountain,8000 lbs 525s 1.5 gear ratio 5350rpm with 39 pitch props
And the Fountain has more acceleration with 3 more inches of pitch-Go figure

Ouch!!!
