Two weeks ago I stopped in to visit Tommy and happened to drop in while he was testing on the dyno. I was amazed at how docile his turbo motor is down low. It idles like a 525 Merc! Tommy said the turbo motors run a very mild valve train and (with reasonable care) should provide 200+ hrs of service.

Tommy runs a nice business and has a fantastic crew behind him. Solid folks.

And from what I hear Tommy @ Chief has done a great job developing his own engine with Gentry's induction system.

But all you see on top, Turbo's, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, top hat and inner cooler....basically all the cast aluminum hardware is all Gentry's product now carried by Carson Brummett out of California.

Paul Pfaff is using the same stuff, you'll see it in Pauls advertisments etc.

Bottomline is who has the best set-up internally and Chief always does a great job with his engines and his research.

They look cool, I'll check it out some day.

Tom, Kate, Frankie and crew at Chief Engines
I can’t thank you all enough for all the work that went into this project.
Chief 1200HP Turbo’s Rock!
Every time a decision was to be made on this project
I would ask Tom “if this was your boat what would you do?”
Here are the results --->
Thanks Again

I can't say enough about Tommy and everyone at Chief. They run a top shelf operation there and are always accessible to discuss your problems and needs. Tommy has helped me and my race team out on numerous occasions, the last of which is lending me a blower for the upcoming Miami race when one of ours suddenly failed.

I've seen his turbo motors on the dyno and in action. They are BAD AZZ to say the least. Turbos seem to be the wave of the future for ultra high performance boats, and Tommy really has them dialed in.

i am new at posting so bare with me :-)

The boat rides incredibly well. It sounds like a stock boat until you hit the throttles.
People in the boat think that an airplane is coming up behind them.
The sound of six turbo's sucking air is a mind blower!
lots of fun!
