I'm all for buying property but you must be looking at one hell of an expensive boat to compare it to buying a lakefront home! Taxes alone would exceed the cost of my boating habit.

real estate is not only a good investment, but should the time come to sell, waterfront will fair better regaurdless of the maket. people always will want to live on the water.

Most water front property appreciates , not all though!
