What do you think its worth??
i have an 1989 28' Mach 1 with twin 454 mag's and bravo drives.. the interior and exterior of this boat is in unbelievable condition , its like it was in a time capsule, anyone that asks how old it is when i say 1989 it floors them.. the boat shows just over 300 hours on the clocks.. Both engines where completely rebuilt this winter .030 over, new pistons, ring, bearings, heads done, line bored ect, ect (as a matter of fact the engines are wrapped up in the garage waiting for a break in the weather to be installed)... the interior had to have been redone sometime in the last few years because its near-mint also.. all teak and cabin components are like new.. i bought this boat for a hell of a deal because one of the 2 OLD engines had at one time ingested water and the owner just wanted rid of the boat... it has all NEW risers and manifolds, all stainless hardware on both engines.. I put on Zero effort controls... has a full roller galvanized load-rite trailer... like new cover and snap on canvas cockpit cover.. i have just under 10 grand in the engines / manifolds, risers and any other odds-and ends... because the boat being a MACH 1 is next to impossible to find in any KBB type appraisal book i cannot put a figure on the boat... what do you think i should insure the boat for??? what do you think a fair market value of my boat is??? thanks alot !!!

You'll find most insusers will tell you how much they will insure it for. It's tough to get an agreed value on an older boat, even a well known model. I have a pristine 1982 Donzi 22 Classic, that I couldn't get insured for over $8000. Try finding even a beat up one for that price. I bought liability only.

A friend of mine just sold a similar boat - late 80's or early 90's 29 Mach 1. One motor was new, the other had about 600hrs on it. Boat and trailer sold for about $17K. Just to give you an idea...
