Default Sunsation F-4 or Nortech 43V?

I was at the Sarasota Poker Run and I saw the F-4 there. I am just curious if any saw it running? How did the boat ride in those conditions? How does it compare to a 43 Nortech with similar power?

I think Cash Bar had the best quote for that comparison:

I still say the most amazing part of the day was watching that 43' Sunsation running smoothe as glass at 85 or so on the first leg.....no BS.

I think the F4 is a better looking boat than the 43V but that is just my biased opinion. I know Mark and Eileen's new 43 V tags 100 with triple 650's and the F4 Powerboat tested hit 99.2 with a pair of 700 Mercs.

Nortech has a good dealer/ factory for Florida but Sunsation has several nationwide. Anyone here can call Sunsation Monday-Saturday at 6 am and talk to one of the owners. Company has been around since 1982 and has unbeatable customer service. I bought the my 32 and I had never heard of the company before! The F4 would be on my short list but Rob your 39V is one of the sharpest NT's out there!

Both great boats. NorTech is about 1000 lbs heavier, so may crush the water a bit better. Sunsation's bottom is faster, so you won't need as much power to reach desired speed.

As far as which one you like better, that is a personal thing. I like both.

the nortech is just a bigger boat 6" longer, 9'beam, bigger cockpit room. more freeboard and weighs 13,000 lbs- 1500lbs more than the f4, both cabins are decked out with amenities, Nortech will handle rough water better, but F-4 is 4-5 mph faster with equal power, they both retail with 700's for around 600k, both awesome boats, take your pick, nortech just has a longer track record and a resell will consequently be better, they are both very stylish. have been in Johns F-4 at loto, it has some neat design features and very high quality. I own a 50v nortech but the Sunsation is right there, love them both.

Both great boats. If performance with class is your criteria, go with Sunsation. If class with performance is your criteria, go with Nor-Tech. Can't go wrong either way. I'm not a fan of triples so I would lean Sunsation only because you can obtain good performance on tame, twin power. But damn, the 43' Nor-Tech is such a nice boat...

I am waiting for Nortech to build a 43V with twin 700's to see how fast it will run. If the susation does 99 MPH, I wonder what the Nortech will do. Maybe low 90's?
