If I didn't already have 2 projects in the works I would have jumped all over it. Come on Panther or Sak, save this thing!!!

It already has some teal on it...all I would have to do is add some pink!

I would if it was a fire sale.... Nick is rich, maybe he'll do it!

No thanks dude , should have bought that 24 superboat outboard 2 weeks ago. That would be worth it , this is just a mess. If you buy it I'll do the interior though!

That boat will need a full resto. Mine was in much better shape when I started and it still took more work than I planned. What is it they say.....what ever your budget is....double it.

If I didn't do the Anthony I would have done this Apache. Its a cool classic boat, Panther should own it and repower it with a small block blower motor. There was a really cool 18 Donzi V-drive that I wanted to do but was already comitted to the '59 Anthony. I promised my wife only 1 project a year.
Budget for the resto would be pretty high, I put $10K into the 13' CAT project (almost $2K in PPG paint alone) with 100% my labor for 5 months (good thing I didn't go into it with a budget) and who knows what will go into the Anthony, we'll have to see about you doing the interior, was thinking back to back bench in this one to keep the CG over the sponsons. Going to do a resto on the motor too, actually found a 1250 Inline short shaft to put on the back, gonna paint it white and put the Mark 78A cover on it. Not offshore but a cool hydro for the wife. The boat should be here by late next Sat if I don't get mugged and raped pulling home.

Wink 1987 22' Apache Scout

There were only two 22' Apache Scouts ever made with big-blocks in 1986, the first year of the I/O's. And they were MerCruiser 330 TRS packages. One was painted red, white & blue & was a long time fixture at Ft. Apache & the other was a black gelcoat hull with a white gelcoat deck w/gold & black stripes, which I owned and sold to the owner(Ted) of the Apache Bar & Grill, about 1988-89. He wanted a boat to commute back & forth to his home, which was straight out the Apache canal directly across the lake. Both boats went 60 m.p.h. In the 1987 model year, some of the big-block "Magnum" Alpha packages were installed.

That's exactly what I thought when Mr_V brought it to my attention yesterday. All the mini-Apache's I've seen have Alpha's or Apha SS drives.

Hey Mr. V, Anthony? Never heard of that one, any more pics? It looks like a neat boat. I am looking for some old finned almost automotive late fifties early sixties OB to restore. Know of anything? I love that stuff
