Tuesday this week he went back and they did a chest x-ray and saw what they thought was an aneurysm on his heart, they sent him to the emergency room where they found a mass they are calling a tumor.
further tests have shown multiple growths or tumors on his lungs. from my reading, in the absence of the biopsy results, it seems that these growths can be things other than cancer though that is less likely. We do know that they did not find any in any other parts of his body at this point, other than that I can not give you any more information. Apart from 4 wheeling and boating with me, Nick has never engaged in any risky behaviors, does not smoke, do drugs etc. He is studying engineering at U of H. I know that with modern medicine that there is all kinds of good outlooks, still I have a hard time dealing with this wait for the test results. Thanking you in advance Fred and Cynthia |
