Became mandatory in Virginia as of May 1st, 2006. I just heard on the news last night that a new study is indicating that Ethanol is "worse" for the environment and public health? I know it's worse for my boat's fuel system....

Metropolitan area... more than likely.
I don't believe the counties around Lake Anna have Ethanol.
Off the top of my head:
Henrico: Yes
Hanover: Yes
Caroline: No
King William: No
King & Queen: No
Prince William: Yes
Pumps are to be CLEARLY marked "Contains 10% Ethanol" if its in the mix. Linster had a map showing all of the counties that have and don't have.
