Yet Another 496MagHO Exhaust Question, about Whipple
Ok, I've been searching posts here on OSO and have gained lots of good info, specifically on the stock 496 exhausts vs aftermarkets (CMI, Dana, etc).
My new question is: Is there dyno data on a 496 MagHO, with a whipple, on stock and then aftermarket exhausts? I find lots of other test scenarios, but not this one. Yes, I am placing the same call/question with Whipple as well.
Everything I read on the stock systems - at least at low to moderate hp increases, show they are rather good - yes, I've read the threads and info, including full throttle (excellent data!) but cannot find this question answered, so I call upon the OSO forums to help. To keep initial installation costs down, I may add a charger first and later upgrade the exhaust, as the charger is the better bang for my bucks if the stock exhaust will still perform rather well.
What effects will I see with stock exhausts and a whipple charger?
Thanks in advance!

Money is no object, just do it all. If you quit going on vacation, you would have more for the boat upgrades. A new Cig would solve all of the performance problems. You suck

LOL. Apparently no one has this sort of info, I guess you're right! JUST DO IT. As for that new Cig, I'll need your next paycheck or two......

Hot to Go racing in Grand Island NY has installed few Whipples on 496HO's. They can answer some of your questions if you want to talk to someone who has the expeirence. 1 716 773 6131 ask for Rob (owner)
