What he said... and put just enough fuel to go out onto the water 100 ft and back. Go to far and, for some reason, the tv quits workin':drink: Or double your funtime, run a 200ft extension cord!

I am also thinking of putting 2 20" lcd's in my Outlaw. I was just going to use a power inverter on mine, but I am also concerned about the screens when the boat is coming back to earth..... Maybe a rubber mounting system???

have a 17" lcd in mine mounted permanently no problems with banging around , we have a dvd player also but no shore power in boat . we only use it when tied up at the marina so i use a regular heavy gauge cord with an adapter to the shore power outlet and have a power stip that we plug everything into mounted under the galley cabinet:chimp:

I also have been thinking about an lcd tv in my 357. I have searched the threads for any info. I want a 12 volt tv but dont want to pay $500 for a 15" tv. It seems some people have had luck hard wiring 12 volt tvs into there boats and some people cant get them to work. From what I can tell from the postings the 12 volt tv needs only 3 volts to run any more and the tv will not work . As we all know are boats run on a 12 volt system. The tvs also would like a regulating power supply. I think I my have found the answer.
