Default Lake Travis (TX) Resorts?

It looks like we will be in the Austin area around the 4th of July for a wedding on the 7th. We thought it might be a good idea to haul the boat down and stay on Lake Travis for a few days. Where are some good places to check out for lodging? We need a room and a slip for a 24' boat, preferably covered and nice with no nails sticking out etc.

Thanks!

I looked at that, I believe that's a little out of my league. $1300.00 for 4 nights is a bit spendy. I'm looking for nice, not presidential . I'm thinking something in the $100 - $150 per night range. Anything around there like that?

This is a nice place. stayed there a few times. about half the proce of Lakeway. not the same but you get what you pay for. the wife and kid still enjoy Lakeway the best with the new pool and water park.

Also, check ot www.obergproperties.com They rent cabins at Lakeway. Mountain Star Lodge is near Lakeway and you can store your boat trailer there. You should be able to rent a dock at Lakeway Marina (512-261-7511). The best value for you would be the Mountain Star Lodge (about $100 a night). If you stay with Oberg you have access to the Lakeway Pool which is awesome! Good luck, you will have a good time wherever you stay!
