Nextell or altell phone service? - Page 3

I have Nextel in Florida and do not have a home phone, 900 minutes $176.00. Nationwide calling and 2way. Also I heard that Nextel is going to go country wide with there 2 way paging. I don't know if this is true can someone get some info on this? I just purchased the new I90c flip phone it is BAD ASS!!!!!!!

yes, 2-way across the country will be up and running in most areas by the end of 2002. Some of you that are having trouble don't forget about once a year you need to get a software upgrade. Other companies you need to about every 3 months.

If you have more than one phone get on www.nextel.com and order the cable for your type of phone and do the upgrades your self. Or you can get the cable through Motorola/iden and I think it is cheaper.

I think it will be included in some of the plans......some of the other companies will be adding local 2-way in the next year or 2, that's why nextel is going national so they stay ahead of the competition.

Also later this year you'll be able to hook a laptop up to your nextel at higher speeds i HEARD 56k, and here is the best part*****NOT USE ANY OF YOUR MINUTES*****. Asfar as I know only Spint PCS is heading that way too but it will be some time before they will beable to do that.
