You have to essentially paint yourself the night before or days leading up to a contest. That is by no means natural color. The lights are so bright that you have to be very dark or you will be washed out by the lights. The color and oil helps show striations, definition, separation, etc... It can be washed off, however some products wash off easier than others.

Yep, like seeing a different girl when she's painted.

Also remember that a lot of the shots that Greg has posted are to highlight her build for the competition. During the time before a competition they eat a specialized diet so they looked ripped. Then the poses and pumping up prior to the pictures are designed to make her muscles look as large as possible. I am sure if you met Amanda away from the competition she would not look cut up like that, just a beautiful girl with a killer figure. Greg I often wondered why you guys are still not together, you still seem quite fond of her. Wish her luck

Wow, what a lack of respect.... Whether you like the way she looks or not, you have to respect the sacrifices she's made to obtain those results. They don't come overnight and they don't come without dedication and commitment. For those "haters", how about posting a picture of yourself? I'm sure we could critique it.....perhaps even give you a few pointers.

Cash- She looks great! Best of luck to her.

Cash,
I showed her pictures to several of my close friends who are actually NPC judges. We all pretty much said the same thing about her physique. She needs to work on her posing and just based on these shots, she needs to improve her lat width a little bit to help with more of a V-Taper and also her quads are a little top heavy, meaning she needs a little bit more quad sweep and inside like the Vastus Medialis (Teardrop area). If she is going to step up to the national level and compete in either the Team Universe or the USA she will also need to come in a bit harder than she did in these previous shows. She really does look pretty good, but, just needs some fine tuning and some work on posing to really show off her attributes and hide her flaws... I wish her the best of luck and please keep me posted of her progress. Let me know if she ends up doing the USA's, I will be there and will cheer her on if she is competing.
Regards,
Tony

Thanks Tony. Her legs have really come along, and she has been told about (and is working on) her lats. I have begged her to change posing coaches. I am only an "ex", so my suggestions, unfortunately, are met with skepticism from the "current".

Thanks again to all.
