Default Gas Prices Affecting Boating

Are high gas prices affecting your boating? I know I have personally cut back...way back. I am even thinking of trading down to a much smaller boat.

The local boat traffic around me is way down. Most of the cabin cruisers are now floating summer homes.

Yes and no,
We didn't use the Nordic this weekend, BUT we did use the Seadoo all weekend, and had a blast. And it only used about 15 gallons of gas! Plus, the wife drives the Seadoo, ( she doesn't drink on the boat), and I can have a few adult beverages, DJ, and NOT have to drive!!!

Not stopping boating, just not taking those useless trips down river and back.

F the gas prices It won't stop me from enjoying my sport, however, I don't run 70 miles up the Sound to go boating at the east end of Long Island anymore. I keep the trips reasonable but still use it plenty.

still the same habits, all the hangout spots are 17 miles up the lake, will make up the gas money somewhere else in the budget.
