Default VP RACING FUEL at the pump

Just wondering if VP RACING FUEL ( think 110 octane ) is better to run rather than the 93 I've been using. A gas station near me just started offering it, now wondering if there is any benefit to using it or will I just be wasting money.

Anything more than a couple points more than your build calls for would be a waste in my opinion, unless you're trying to blend out crappy gas. My 02

unless your motor is built /setup to run on race gas, you can actually decrease your performance running it.

If your engine is designed tto run on 93 octane and you run 110 octane, you will make less power and it may even foul out the spark plugs. On my 525SC with 8# of boost, I used mix in 5-10 gallons of 110 with the old fuel from the year before just to be safe in case the ocatne deteriorated over the winter.
