World Speed Record Triple Outboard CC..

I looked with keen interest on the world record video from Fountain. They made a 38 foot fishing boat go 87MPH with 4 300Xs!! What is the record for a CC fishing boat with triples?

I find it ironic how many people wouldn't recognize the Poker Run Sanction body when Outerlimits used one for a speed record and yet here Fountain now has used one as well...:rolleyes:

i wonder how much speed was knocked off from that t-top...

that has got to eat a fair amout of speed...

Trip 275 38 Fountain is a 72-73 mph boat on its best day. If it did 83 with triples I would order one right now.

Some people just deny facts and make jokes to cover up their own misfortune or lack of performance.

I know it's an old thread, doesn't make it any less interesting !

a 33 invincible will do 80 with trip 300's, you could spring for the 350's to get an extra few mph.
