90db

That's cool thanks for the info. I never knew that, but I guess you learn something everyday. 90 db I'm sure I'm there with those mufflers on there they are very very quiet. Good info thanks again!

I would be very surprised if that 600cu in engine is at 90db, especially running dry...

If someone told me it would have quieted the boat down that much with my setup I would have never believed them, but having heard it myself I was shocked. Now on the other hand maybe I'm a little deaf now using the boat with the dry pipes that maybe everything sounds quieter now :).
Again I'm not really sure if It did actually get it below 90db but I'm sure it's close. |

Indy, dude I hear ya about the noise thing and the motorcycle thing. I have the bike thing too I have a 2005 Harley (straight pipes) and drag bike a 76 kz900 stretched and screaming motor with a megaphone drag pipe, and I never get stopped. But if your on the boat and in Annapolis they certainly give you the evil eye I think mainly it's because of all the blow boaters. And the reason they don't care about the Harleys anymore is cause most of them have them because it's the in thing to have, and it's socially acceptable this day and age you know.
