Dman porta potties
Well having my first porta pottie capable boat didnt turn out so great this week.
One of the nice ladies who used it thought the latches holding it together would flush it, ya right! needless to say when I put the boat away sunday I was busy as hell the next few days so yesterday I go to service the comode and when I opened the hatch the whole area reeked! porta pottie came apart and leaked its pee pee water  needless to say after sitting 5 days I needed to put on my paint resperator to clean it without puking. I know I know, should clean the boat right when I get back, oh well another lesson learned. |
Buy a little johnny with a suzie adapter and problem solved. They sell them at west marine. Take the pp out of the boat, problem solved!

get rid of it and hand them a bucket:D

Had the same thing happen 15 years ago except the latch broke from the pounding. Now in this boat I have a seat belt around it just in case the latch fail again.

There is NO chitting and peeing on my boat...and I have a macerator and pump out.:p

do the potties with the marcerator have to be emptied, or do they discharge in to the water? I guess you could run a weak solution of bleach in it after use.
What are you supposed to do with the ones without the marcerator? How are they supposed to be emptied? I have never seen one in a boat, just curious. |
bucket
