Very sad prayers go out
Just my two sense about the big boats throwing wakes at the tickfaw 200 poker run this yr the big boats were purposely throwing huge wakes. They had a few people riding on the front of the big boats with cameras taking pictures as the smaller boats launched out of the water. At any given time there would be several smaller boats behind the big boats wainting on the jackasses to trim up just so they could pass and once enough boats were behind them they would slow down to let the people who did not want to jump their wake pass them up. Pretty inconciderate if you ask my opinion. |
Many prayers... :(

Well, my previous post was supposed to be a slide show. I can't see how to delete it.
I've been visiting Rick in the hospital since early Sunday and spent most of today with him. I also shot a full series of pictures of his boat. It helps him to understand how this could have happened, and that it's not his fault. I've known Rick a long time. Great guy. Always someone I looked forward to seeing, or was glad to see unexpectedly. He's shared his memory of the accident with me, I've spoken to the investigating warden, and I've inspected the boat with someone who repairs hulls. It's a long story, but all boils down to the coming together of an unusual set of circumstances to cause the hull to fail. Pictures: http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=...&x=0&y=-z9i16k |
