Default Thoughts on this boat

This boat has me curious. What are some overall thoughts about that hull combo, with the SSM IV drives? I know its kind of an odd boat, with the twins rather than triples in the 420 model. I was told it came with Lamborghini V12 engines from merc new. Any thoughts?

That boat was Baja's show boat that year. It was back in that brief period when Mercruiser and Lamborghini were collaborating and you could get the Merc/Lambo power/drivetrain package. I saw the boat at the Cleveland show that year. I seem to remember them saying it was sold at that show but I'm not 100% certain on that. I do remember it ad a big $$ on it.

but for that price and that size, itd be hard to go wrong (in my opinion) if you go into it knowing that you may get your first season out of it before drive changes are in order.. who knows, may last many years like that. its a gorgeous boat though, i love the way the deck is laid out..

Wonder how that thing ran with the lambo engines?

The scary thing is the SSM IV drives. I wouldnt want to break one and be up $hits creek. Wish it had TRS so I could go to konrads if I wanted to

The drives looks like SSMIII to me. Parts should not be an issue.

Boat looks good. Lose the wing though. I sure would hate to keep that bastard waxed.
