We reserved a room at the Holiday Inn in midtown. Was 630.00 for two nights. Me and the wife and 2 teenage boys and two 8 year olds girls into the room. I know its probably going to be a tight fit.

I did emailed a guy about an apartment located on 52nd street for a little cheaper but wouldn't have to worry about the number of kids. Plus it had more room being an apartment compared to a hotel room. I hope I get a reply from him.

With only two days to spend, and considering all the sites you want to see are in and around Manhattan, you would be crazy to stay on Long Island.

The few $ you'd save would NOT be worth it.
