I have had my fair shre of run in with snakes growing up on the water. I Can handle all but the coton mouth,mocasine.My first run in with a mocasine was a 5 footer i was cleaning out the neighbors fence when i grabbed its tail thinking it was a stick I learned real quick how to snap a snakes neck. I will never make that misrtake again,

I wish I never read this thread. Up swim platforms, and across lines. Not good.
