I boated on Lake Erie for many years before moving to Florida. I can tell you that the bigger and heavier the boat the better. It's rough water and a smaller boat gets thrown around quite a bit. A 30 would work nicely though. Just my opinion. Mark I also boated on Erie for many years. It can get pretty snotty out there pretty quick. I had a heavy 25', and did fine. But I certainly wished I would have had something bigger - maybe I wouldn't have gotten the sh!t kicked outta me as badly.

There is no better source than right here on Oso. Type a few words in the search engine, and you can find damn near anything to do with hi perf boating. If you can't find it, just ask, and I guarantee someone will be able to give a good answer. I've been on here for six years, and the amount of knowledge on here still amazes me.
