Who Has Or Sell Sea Strainer Cap With Reg Hose Fitting?

Just want to simplify the task when I want to run engines on hoses... does it exist or I have to invent this by myself?

Tell me if you already have this!!!

Thanks.

Yes, great idea, I have gill strainers with plastic lid 1/2" thick.
Why not thread for a garden hose barb connection for engine flush.
I could use that forsure times two.

bringing back this tread. still don't have a fresh water flush system for TRS, AND, Trick marine does not exist anymore, so... any suggestion where I can find those?

M&M will sell you some stainers that has a port for a flush or you could pipe them in yourself.

I would think it would be hard to drill and tap it with out it cracking, I replaced mine from over tighten and cracked,

On my Hustler it has a plastic/PVC T fitting on the inlet hose close to the transom. goes to a valve to select from port and star. I can take a pick if ya need one, should be cheap, you could even leave off the valve and just cap the end and hook a water hose when ya want to flush.

Not to try & sidetrack the thread but what did you have to pay for the new lid ? & what brand strainer was it ? I have a M.M. on the way that will be needing a new lid... I was told that it is the same as the Gil but not sure... I have emailed a couple people trying to get a price including M.M. & no luck yet getting a response. Thanks , Scott
