Jass only owns his boats for 6 months and uses them 3 times, so if you have a genny that lasts 6 hours he is good to go!

Hey give me some credit, my last one (43 Diesel) was 3 weeks, and Sunday I'll be past that point.

The latest episode of Ship Shape TV is about generators. The host asked a rep from Kohler if you could mix match gas/diesel and the answer is no.

Check it out if you get a chance, pretty decent episode.

I saw it when you posted the first time, I like how they have an option for the ignition protection. We know it is possible to do if you find the right set, and with the additional cost of the protection it's either going to be advertised or it will be an option.

I posted because a major manufacturer of generators mentioned it on TV. It's simply more support that you at least have to look for the right product before mix/matching.
