I have always said that it takes more cohons to get in a fuel drag boat than pretty much anything on the planet. To me a fuel dragster pails in comparision ( not taking anything away from them because those guys & girls are nuts too ! )
It looks & sounds like the engine flys out & keeps running for a short while or is that another boat ?

i dont know but when that thing dove it almost looked like it was the capsule that got flung down the track what ever it was took a huge flight. Glad to hear he is OK. thats nuts

When I raced it was before capsules, I was waiting on the ropes when I believe Eddie Hill made a pass. He popped a blower and the boat turned sideways throwing Eddie out the high side just before the finish line. It clocked him at 170 mph as he crossed the finish line on his back. The boat never crossed the line. Thats back when we wore chutes on our lifelines to slow us down.
