Back in the 70's -80's when I lived in Toms River I used to hate the yearly influx of summer tourists. I hardly ever went to the beach beacuse of all the traffic on RT37. Couldn't wait for all the Bennies to go home.
So we moved to Floida. I figued the tourist traffic couldn't be any worse than Jersey. HA!!! Boy, was I wrong. Driving to and from Seaside in the summer is a piece of cake compaired to this. And it never stops. Tourists come every day. Picture the usual Saturday traffic heading to Seaside in July and multiply that by twenty. That's what we get 365 days a year. |
