I've seen that before. Maybe on the "other" site.
My dad did a similar stunt with his 36" Chris Craft back in the mid 60's. He made a "navigational error" and put her up on hard ground during a full moon high tide. We had to hire a barge and dredge to dig a channel to her then a crane was hired to lift her out. She came home under her own power but both transmissions were slipping badly.
