Gonna get wet after 3 years of work.

Mad at my Engine Builder,

Well,

Not really, simple mistake,

on a Mercury 135, 150, and 175 the cylinder #'s are reversed from a 200, as far a jetting the carbs goes.

Well, on a 200 with WH46 carbs, the jetting should be as follows............

Main Jet....

1=.082
2=.080
3=.080
4=.080
5=.082
6=.080

idle jets are all .056

Vent Jet.........

1=.096
2=none
3=.096
4=.096
5=.none
6=.096

he had the .082's in #'s 2and 6

and the .096's in #'s 2 and 5

The way he had them installed would be correct for a 175 with Wh46 carbs, but caused my motor to run like crap, I have been going nuts replacing electrical parts, and trying to time this thing, as soon as I swapped the jets, it runs perfect, well almost, gotta have my new mechanic in Islamorada final tune it August 11

Tha Pantera will be wet in 2 weeks

Thanks Dave, I never thought I would see the end of this project

for those who dont know the boat, Dave was a longtime owner, and the boat was brought back to Miami by Angel(Pantera24), and then I bought it, and took on the project of updating it.
