This is a labeling problem and nothing more. If the video had been called "Boat Ride" I doubt anyone would have a problem with it. The ride does not look particularly fast (no stretched faces) and the driver appears to be in complete control. The kid is wearing a PFD.

I'd be more worried for the guy taking the video. It's tough to do that and hang on really well.

have you considered just minding your own business? Are you part of the group(s) that got seatbelt and helmet laws in place?

I was water skiing at 2 years old, does that mean my parents should be locked up??? because it's something that you would never do?

I think for a speed trial the video guy should at least try and make it look like you are going fast.

I take my 6mo old out in a 18 Donzi with him in my wifes lap or some times even mine. He loves it. Ussually falls asleep a few min into the ride. I don't go WOT but there is VERY little free board on the Donzi Vs the Superboat. I see NOTHING wrong with what he is doing. I would be more concerned if she was in the back seat by herself.

Took my cousins little boy 4yrs old. And I take my neighbors boys who are a little older with me sometimes. My boat is not fast and rides so smooth your drink doesn't fall off the dash, but they love it. My cousins kid usually falls asleep on the back seat by the engines. My neighbors kids don't know any better, so they think 65 is the fastest thing on the planet.

Our boat club used to do a charity run just to take underprivledged kids on big boat rides. It was before my time and we lost one of our sponsors, but I heard the kids loved it.

Done responsibly, there is not a kid in the world that doesn't want a boat ride. Hell aren't we all big kids.

Most everyone is a desktop critic. I see nothing wrong with the supposed "Speed Trial."
