Woa - nic avatar don. Just a couple I found. It does look a lot like the 9 meter carrera, but not quite as good looking

http://boatcrazy.com/search/details.php?id=12211 Is this the one your looking at?

$20-25K seems to be the going rate for one in good shape

Yes, actually this is tone of the ones I found. He is trying to get me to buy it for 11k with two bad motors, Ha ha. The only way I'm doing it is if I steal it, literally. And I got some goods info from all of you. Lets keep the thread going!!
I'll post the pix of the other in austin. He is asking way too much for one that has merc tranny's

fastboat269 08-05-2007 06:59 PM

my kind of thread.....lol

I have a 86 269 condurre. I also have a buddy who has a 87 300 condurre( for sale/needs motors). I have had my 269 since 2000. It is a very well made boat. 269 came stock with 350's w/alpha drives. Some 300's had(mild) 454's w/1.32 alpha's and others had the 440's and the trs drives.

Stroker....
Very solid well built boat
26 deg dead rise hull
big cuddy w/headroom

NOT going to be fastest boat on the lake
My buddy's 300 was 68mph with stock 454's

Let me know if you have any questions... Forturnately or unfortuneately I have done alot of work to mine... So I may be able to answer a few questions.

This is the first thread that I may have some insight on..... :cool-smiley-011:

I have 454's and Bravo's in my 269
Full hydraulic steering

I am friends with the guy that tests all twin engine Cobalts at their test lake in Kansas.

He has 502 mags in his 86 269 condurre and can do some amazing things with that boat.

The 300 is a hair deeper and has a larger windshield.
269 basically has no wind block. Anything over 70 starts to get uncomfortable, IMO.....
