Anyone recommend a good canvas guy?

I need to get new covers made for the boat, any one recommend a good canvas guy around the Sanford, Orlando, Deland, FL. area?

For less than 1K you can get new covers from Sunsation. Call Joe and he will take your order and ship directly from the manufacturer. I got the bow cover in white so it looked better if it was left on when running.

Scott, Did the snaps come on the cover? If so how did they line up?

The main reason I want to get new covers is to get one that wraps the side of the boat as well. Plus the covers I have now are letting water and dirt get in the boat. Makes it hard to keep clean:angry-smiley-044:

I just used these guys for the bimini top on our Seadoo jet boat. It was a good job, at a fair $$. A little out of the way for you though.

This isn't much help I can't find their card but there is a good one in Sarasota. Canvas 1 or something. Call info. I'll look for card but they did a quality repair for me quickly and I was from out of town.

I've heard good things about these guys, they have even contributed to Powerboating Mag a while back with an article about canvas maintence and such. They are just off the Maitland Interchange and 434. They are on Adult Toy Storage's property.

The snaps come with it and you install them into the material so you can be sure they all line up. My old covers were getting beat from the sun/heat.

I have a full Sunbrella cover (down both sides to the trailer/ covers the drives) that is excellent but is cumbersome when you are in a rush. I bought it from an OSO member that used it on his 33 Powerplay and it fits great. I think I paid him about 1/3 of what it was new.

Prater I believe. He is back home and has your number so he can square up with you about that trailer light, so you should get a call soon. I was up in Jax last weekend and was driving back Sat realizing that I should have went to Jax the weekend prior. I hope to get over to Cocoa this Sat.
