Thanks for the ideas, I want the ride of a 42 and the speed without a re-build every 75 hours if lucky with 1075's. Would a pair of Potter 1200s be a good idea. I love my 1150's, they run and run and run. They have lasted 175 hours before re-build on my friends 36' nor-tech who only knows wide open. He was the reason I bought my boat with that power now. I would of never believed it if I did not see it.

I am told the 44 is only a rutter boat and a tilt trailer, that seems like a real pain in the ass to me for 2 feet.
