Well, it's a little less than two weeks before our Fun Run. Please let me know if you plan to attend by either email or phone. My phone is (321) 536-0511 and my email is [email protected]. I plan to visit Inlet Restaurant on Thursday to finalize the arrangements, so I will need to have a head count and boat count. Please respond.
Thanks,
Dail

It will be great to see you. We would really like for you to make the complete trip with us though. Time to see what that Scarab can do. You thought some friends from Jacksonville might join in? Have you heard from them?
Thanks,
Dail

CAVelocity,
As mentioned earlier, we expect to be at Inlet Restaurant around 1:00 to 1:30 P.M., if all goes as planned. If time allows and you are in the area, please come on over and get acquainted. Our present head count is about seven (7) boats, so there will be room. We would all like to meet another OSO member.

Dail, did you take into account the restricted area and the very shallow water off the "point" that extends out a ways? I was looking at my charts the other night and saw the depth readings.

Gregg,
Yes, the course will take us well outside of the shallow areas and the restricted zones. How did the Fountain run last weekend up in Jacksonville? Did you have any further trouble with oil in coolant tank? Hope everything is working well.

Well it did burn oil, but none of it went into the antifreeze. I ran the boat nearly 100 miles and the river was beat up, so to smooth the ride out, I sped up and ran it around 72mph, that's 5000 rpm, for around 20+ minutes straight. Not WOT, but close. That's pretty hard for that amount of time. So I will give it a full fluid change this weekend anyways. So far, so good. But I still will put it up for sale because I'm thinking more along the lines of an Activator or similar boat that can run rough water.
