Dail,
Headed up to Mystic powerboats today, to prep the Nordic for the fun run. The Coskers will be joining us in our boat also. I also picked up some new charts yesterday.

Hopefully these winds will die down.

Hopefully things will flatten out a bit by then
Hope to talk the other two SCS's into going.

TS Gabrielle is supposed to move off and out of the area. Right now, long range forecasts call for 1-2' seas by Tues or Wed. Hopefully that should hold.

I was headed west on I-4 this morning, between Sanford and Lake Mary, I saw what looked to be a Velocity, and what for sure was a Sunsation heading east, towards I-95, and I though that today might have been that run. It was around 8:30 this morning.

Cuda you gonna trailer down there?

White Knuckles 09-08-2007 05:27 PM

The more, the better. It will be a fun time for all.

Hope you guys can make it.

Only five days to go before our Fun Run. I know that I am really looking forward to this trip. At present we have seven boats for the run with three maybe's and a couple from Daytona that will meet us at the restaurant. If anyone else is interested, we will leave Port Canaveral (Grills) at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday (Sept. 15th.) come on down, the more the merrier.

It's unlikely for us. Debbie has a son who lives in a home for handicapped children in St Pete. She gets him every other weekend, and next weekend is one of them.

The only thing that would keep me from doing the whole run would be if the seas dont lay down with that stuff thats going on at this time. My Scarab (being the shortest in the list so far) is great about hanging with you big boys on the flat stuff 1-2 but 3-4 gets REAL bumpy for that long of a run.
If it is lumpy I will meet you at the northern part and run the inside for a bit with ya.
Hopefuly it lays down ... Looks like a great time and looking forward to it
