Default FDill your boats up today!

Shell just ordered the evacuation of all rigs in the gulf. Gas prices WILL go up over night.

I'm on it!!! Tomorrow AM, hopefully they dont have time to change the price before I get there....

They've been waiting for this to happen all year to justify raising prices... You would think people plan for a hurricane during huricane season....

I filled the boat and truck and am thinking about filling a 55 gallon drun i have at the shop.

Premium at our local BP was 2.70 last Saturday - I filled it up in a heartbeat figuring it surely wasn't going to go DOWN

Yep, and after they start the rigs up again, it will take two weeks to see any drop at the pumps.

I filled up at 2.48 this morning that is the best i have seen it all year. 93 octane was 2.64.

Are you serious? I can't remember the last time I paid around $2.50...it was probably before Wilma. Best I've seen was $2.72 yesterday down here.
Can't wait to see how the Chevron refinery fire will affect prices. But the word is demand hasn't materialized so maybe there's been a wash...

the lines at the stations today here in Houston are pretty bad. at least around my office.
