Graphic or Creative Design guys help......
I bought my new boat (Sonic 358 Diablo) over this past winter......had the new name airbrushed on the back of the boat.........after two tries I am still not happy with the way it turned out........I am looking for some one to make me up vinyl but using my idea for how I want it to look....The name of the boat is......Here's Johnny.....I want the word "Here's" to look as if it is vibrating or shaking from the rumble of the motors.........The vinyl people I have dealt with so far have all done the same cr*p.......outlining it a few times and it looks like cra*p. The painter who did the job made it look like it is falling apart which looks a little unclear.......anybody here do this type of vinyl work or know of someone that can do it right..............thanks in advance guys................Johnny.
Pic 1 is one rendering, Pic 2 is another guys rendering, pic 3 is what's on there now...........

I was sitting around watching the ball game and thought I'd give this one a shot...
Here are some type suggestions, Johnny, with a few shown in color, and one developed with some motion lines. Obviously any of the samples could be adjusted in a similar manner... let me know if you see anything you like. I can produce the vinyl as well if you are interested... (jay(at)lettering.net)
Your problem is a common one-- these days anyone with $1500 can buy a cutter and some software and call themselves a sign shop... often with little or no training in graphic design basics, especially typography. Whenever they are asked to reach beyond the small boundaries of their cookie-cutter world their limitations quickly become apparent.
Ok, that's my rant. Lemme know if I can help.
