Sounds cool, great cause, and we've never been up the river that far. How big are the boats that have run in the past?
Thanks,
Dean

As Dean said, this is a great cause. More Info please, boat sizes, launch facilities, etc. Perhaps this is a good year for some of us in the Cape Canaveral area to trailer over?

On that part of the river, one can run as big of a boat as they want. The river is much wider up until the part that leads back to Crescent Lake. There are no speed zones on the river in that area. I usually put in at a ramp in Astor, a town just south of Lake George. From there, it's about an hour or so up to Palatka. There is a ramp in Palatka as well that should be able to handle bigger boats. I missed last year due to boat being out of commission. I should make it this year.
